Our Mission

The Laurel Steelers Football and Cheerleading Organization is a Howard County Recreation and Parks sponsored program in the Mid-Maryland Youth Football and Cheerleading League (MMYFCL). We offer our players the opportunity to achieve success in sports while enjoying top notch Howard County facilities.

All players between the ages of 5-15 are welcome! Our organization's culture is “family based”.  The Laurel Steelers are a tight knit and diverse community. We extend the opportunity to your family to be apart of the “Steelers Nation”!! Your family will have a fantastic time!

All players:

• will learn fundamentals to help promote individual growth and confidence on and off the field;
• will learn how to function as a team and the importance of teamwork.
• will have the oppertunity to play multiple positions.
• will have FUN!!!
