The Laurel Steelers Football and Cheerleading Organization is a Howard County Recreation and Parks Sponsored Program encompassed under the Mid-Maryland Youth Football and Cheerleading umbrella.  We offer our youth the opportunity to achieve success in their sports while enjoying top notch facilities.  We strive to instill two key factors in our children: 1. “solid football/cheerleading fundamentals to promote individual growth and confidence on and off the field” and, 2. “how to be part of something bigger than themselves; experiencing the camaraderie of a team environment”.  We welcome all boys and girls from ages 5-14 with the hope that the children walk away with a sense of pride and accomplishment.  We also hope to inspire the children to reach back and create new opportunities for youth that follow.  The culture of the Steelers Organization is “family based”.  The Steelers are a tight knit and very diverse community and we extend the opportunity to your family to experience “Steeler Nation” in the coming future.
